No-Bake Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kabobs #DressUpYourNuggets

Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kabobs

As part of the Chick-fil-A Mom's Panel, I was challenged to come up with a semi-homemade recipe to dress up Chick-fil-A nuggets.  I am a huge fan of Chick-fil-A nuggets and I love to entertain, so I thought... "Why not come up with a recipe that's easy and perfect for a party?".  Preparing for a party can be very time consuming.  A semi-homemade recipe will save time and can be just as appealing to the palate as homemade recipe.

I love the Chick-fil-A's Chicken Deluxe Sandwich with pepper jack cheese, so I came up with "No-Bake Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kabobs".  They are like my own little personal bite sized Chick-fil-A Chicken Deluxe Sandwiches on a stick!  To top it off, the colorful presentation is sure to add a festive touch to your party.  These kabobs also make a perfect snack for kids and adults at home or on the go.
Try this semi-homemade recipe for yourself and let me know what you think.  Enjoy!

No Bake Chick-fil-A Kabobs

What you need:

  • 20 Chick-fil-A Nuggets
  • 20 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 20 Pepper Jack Cheese Cubes
  • 10 Wooden Skewers

Directions:

  • Place 1 Chick-fil-A chicken nugget, 1 cube of pepper jack cheese and 1 cherry tomato on a skewer and repeat the pattern once.  Then start a new skewer.
  • Follow the above steps until you have completed all 10 of the No Bake Chick-fil-A Kabobs.
Note: I am going to add Green Leaf lettuce and a few pickles the next time I make these.

If you post pictures or your own "Dress Up Your Nuggets" creation, be sure to use the #DressUpYourNuggets hashtag and follow Chick-fil-A on Twitter and Instagram!

Moms' Night Out Movie #MNOmovie

My best friend and I had the opportunity to go to a Moms' Night Out movie screening last night.  We had the best time.  As you can see from the pictures, we had a moms' night out of our own!  We enjoyed dinner and drinks at Ruby Tuesday before walking over to the movie theater to watch Moms' Night Out.  It is a hilarious feel good movie with a great message.  We could relate to almost everything in the movie and laughed the entire time.  This movie is not just for the ladies.  My husband will relate to what the dads in the movie were going through while their wives were out "unplugging"!  I cannot wait to see it with my husband.

I picked up a new term... stress paralyzed.  Have you ever found yourself so stressed out that you are paralyzed and you have to regroup before moving onto the next task?  I cannot wait to see my family's reaction when I tell them that I cannot do something, because I am #stressparalyzed! :-)  I highly recommend this movie to everyone.  It's a great excuse to get out with your girlfriends for a moms' night out.

Moms' Night Out will be in theaters on May 9, 2014, Mother's Day Weekend!  Check out the Moms' Night Out movie trailer.

Finding Your #DisneySide

So, I am sure that you have heard all of the buzz in the media about showing your Disney Side.  Now is the time to show the world your Disney Side!  Tag your photos on social media networks, such as Twitter, Instagram and YouTube with the #DisneySide hash tag.  You can also upload your pictures and videos directly on Disney's Disney Side page here.

You can show your #DisneySide just about anywhere... home, work, outside playing in the snow (think snow mouse!) or best of all at a Disney Park!  Here are a few pictures from my family's trip to Disney World.  It's never too late to find your Disney Side.  You can find your #DisneySide at any age!

Some of my favorite ways to show my Disney Side include:

  • First and foremost, the fun and quality time with my family which result in magical memories to be cherished.
  • Enjoying the rides.  Kilimanjaro Safaris is a "must ride" at Animal Kingdom! Experience an exciting expedition through an African style savannah with real animals that are roaming freely.  Test Track is a "must ride" at Epcot! Test Track - Board a GM vehicle to experience rigorous testing procedures first hand, from testing your car's suspension to riding through environmental chambers. Fun, fun, fun!
  • Visiting different Disney Resorts and trying out their restaurants, such as Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Character breakfasts are always fund with the kids.
  • Participating in events, such as the CAN DO Volunteer event when we planted trees that served green efforts in various Southern states.  The kids and I enjoyed lending a hand.
  • Relaxing and taking it all in at Disney's Resorts.  Disney's Polynesian Resort - This is a gorgeous top notch resort.  It is a very relaxing and serene resort with beautiful grounds.
  • Learning about and experiencing different cultures at Epcot, from food to rituals.
  • Capturing candid moments.  I spotted a little girl dressed as a princess going up the stairs at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  She looked like a true princess as she held her dress and traveled the stairs with her shiny slippers!
  • The bakeries... Oh, how could I forget!  I smell the bakeries from a mile away!  I visit every Disney bakery that I pass.  I have never been disappointing!  The creations are not only pleasing to the eye, but also very pleasing to the palette!
  • The grand firework shows are always a great way to end the night.

It's Super Bowl Weekend! Recipes & BJ's Wholesale Club Printable Coupon

What are your plans for this Super Bowl weekend?  I plan on trying out several of the recipes that I have pinned to my "Super Bowl" board on Pinterest.

To be honest, I could care less about the football game itself!  I am looking forward to the party and commercials.  I love planning parties and trying out new recipes.  What better excuse than the Super Bowl?

I plan on starting my game day recipe shopping today with this printable coupon for $5 off a $50 purchase at BJ's Wholesale Club.  I have to stop by BJ's to buy a large pack of Hawaiian rolls for one of my favorite new recipes.  I also have to pick up meatballs for my easy 3 ingredient slow cooker meatballs.  I will probably take the easy way out and buy a bag of wings!  I have shared the recipes below.  What are your plans for this upcoming Super Bowl weekend?  Please comment below and share your ideas, recipes and Pinterest boards with us.  Enjoy!
