We had the opportunity to visit Disney World in February.  I did a lot of research weeks before we headed to the airport during the DC Metro Snowpocalypse of 2010.  After much research, I placed eating breakfast at Boma - Flavors of Africa on the top of our "Disney To Do" list.  If you have never heard of Boma, you must put it on your "Disney To Do" list!  We made reservations about 45 days in advance.  I recommend making reservations as soon as you can for any of the Disney World restaurants that you know you want to visit.
Boma offers a buffet with a vast array of authentic African cuisine.  The dishes are inspired by the varied flavors and seasonal dishes of over 50 African countries, from the coast of the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean.  Our breakfast choices included, African pastries, brioche, quinoa porridge, bobotie, fufu, pap, chaka laka, omelets, bacon, sausage, dried fruits and seasonal fresh fruits.  They have a few American food choices for the less adventurous.  At Boma, you feel like you are visiting an African marketplace.  The restaurant is gorgeous and the service was great.  We cannot wait to go back!

Boma is located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  If you are staying on the Disney property, you can take a Disney bus FREE of charge to the Animal Kingdom Lodge from the Disney parks.  To make reservations, book online or call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days prior to your visit.
