GIVEAWAY - Pillsbury Back to School Gift Basket (ends 9/21/09)

This Contest is Closed & We Have a Winner. I love Pillsbury cookies, so I was happy to receive this great Pillsbury Back to School gift basket in the mail. The Pillsbury Back to School gift basket includes a coupon for a FREE package of the Pillsbury Back to School Shape® sugar cookies, as well as a reusable lunch bag and some great school supplies like a pencil case, ruler and sharpener.

My family and I have a weakness for cookies. We actually ate all of the cookies before they had a chance to cool off! I love sugar cookies, but not all of the work that is involved in making them. Pillsbury makes preparing sugar cookies so simple. Just take them out of the package and pop them in the oven (on a cookie sheet, of course!)! My kids enjoyed the cute designs on the cookies while trying to figure out how Pillsbury created them! MyBlogSpark is offering a Pillsbury Back to School gift basket to one lucky SavingQueen.com reader.

HOW TO ENTER:

Every reader has up to 3 ways to enter this contest! To increase your chances of winning, leave a separate comment below for each of the 3 methods of entry.

1. Leave a comment below telling us how you can help your children adjust to the "back to school" season or help make it fun. My kids were home with me all summer, so I stop by their school to have lunch with them every once in a while.

2. Follow me on Twitter. Leave a comment below letting me know that you are following me.

3. Fan me on Facebook. Leave a comment below letting me know that you became or already are a Saving Queen Facebook fan.

The winner will be chosen by Random.org and announced on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11:59pm. Please leave your e-mail address or login to your account, so I can contact you if you win. Your entry will be disregarded if you do not leave some form of contact information. Thank you!

The summer always spoils us with being able to enjoy each others company more often. So when our children go back to school, my husband and I both stop by to have lunch with them often. We also send little love notes to each of them, trying to let them know that we are with them not matter where they may be and that we love them very much.

By the way, I am already a fan of Saving Queen of facebook. I absolutely love reading your posts!

I like to sit with my son and talk to him about his day and look at all the stuff he brings home. Lots of ohhhhhs and ahhhhhs about all the stuff he does. ;-) Helps make him feel special and enjoy school just that much more.

We talked about it being a safe place. We met the teacher before school started so that she was familiar with the classroom and the teacher. We had a playdate with a couple of the kids that would be in her class so she would be with familiar kids and feel a little safer.

Making school bus cookies is definitely one way to do it. Also, get to know your child's school, teacher, and friends.
