Nielsen Ratings' Survey Is Back!

It is very ironic that this offer just came back out, a Nielsen Rating Representative just showed up at my house a few days ago with a nice Cracker Barrel gift basket. She let us know that we had just been picked to participate. She came back today and explained everything to us and gave us $20 for listening! Our meeting was cut short when my son cut his leg with a seam ripper on his way up the stairs. He was sewing a pair of pants for his stuffed animal! We had to head out to get him stitched up.

The Nielsen representative said that a check for $100 will be mailed to us as a "thank you" gift for participating and there will be a few more "thank you" checks throughout the process. Nielsen is going to send their technicians out to add an adapter to each of our televisions. This will allow them to monitor what we watch and for how long. She said that our house was chosen to represent the about 30,000 households that match our demographics and income in our immediate area. I will let you know how our adventure goes!
